The past couple of years have been exciting ones for me and my family. Jackie, my wife of almost 34 years, has become a Master Gardener and developed a thriving landscape design business, giving lectures on a variety of garden-related topics throughout the Denver area. Our son Ted, after four years as a Division 1 tennis player and a bio-chem major at the University of San Diego, worked for two years in a lab at Scripps Research Institute, then obtained a Masters of Biomedical Science degree from Colorado State University, and last year was accepted to the CSU veterinary school (one of the top programs in the country). Our son Geoff and his wife Sarah have given us two wonderful grandchildren who are the light of our lives. Geoff is in grad school at the University of Colorado , preparing to become a high school physics teacher. He also plays, designs, and builds custom mandolins from scratch. I have been a business lawyer with Moye White LLP, a commercial law firm in downtown Denver , since 1980. I also serve as a mediator of business disputes. Last fall I was elected the Managing Partner of the firm, and now divide my time about 50-50 between practice and management responsibilities. I spend a fair amount of time (but never enough) in the mountains, cross-country skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer.
